Hello! Welcome to my web portfolio. I'm Olivia Jones and I am a Marketing Professional with one and a half years industry experience.
In 2019 I graduated with a 2:1 from Birmingham City University where I
studied Media and Communication BA(Hons).
I have always excelled and have a passion for creative subjects such as Art which I have continued as a hobby. Pursuing a career in marketing has allowed me to encourage my creative flare in a business setting, and I am able to share my innovative ideas and hone in on my graphic design skills.
Through my work experience and independent training I have gained a range of marketing skills and knowledge including Website Analytics (Google Analytics, Google Search Console & more) and SEO.
I am a warm individual who is excited about what the future holds. I would be a great asset to a team, and willing to take on any challenges I face with a level of enthusiasm.

Altus Science
2020 - PRESENT
Working as a Marketing Assistant at Altus Science I have had the ability to explore all aspects of the job. I have been able to apply my existing knowledge to increase web traffic, drive website enquiries and grow Altus' catalogue of marketing materials and promotional content.
Next Ltd
2018 - 2020
During my time at Next I worked across all departments as a member of the Sales Team. Where I worked face to face with customers, merchandised new lines, managed my work load and learnt how to work efficiently in a sometimes high stress environment.
I also worked as an office administrator where I took on the responsibility of the banking and working with head office and Next directory to resolve customer order issues and complaints.
Southern Water
Summer Internship 2017
To gain marketing and media experience over the summer of 2017 I worked as part of the media and communications team for Southern Water. Here I was able to gain experience in an office/corporate environment as well as demonstrate my ability to adapt to new environments. I worked with internal comms, external comms and the design team.
